Kennel Club show!!!

Lots of phots of this weekend we got abit camera happy bless the children. I have had a fab weekend enjoying good company good food and enjoying my doggies with no pressure. We got to the show early Saturday morning as Jess was still in medium although i had told the kennel club weeks ago that she had changed the muppets about an hour later i got Jess new running orders although not always the right numbers. We've never parked so far away from the show and as im sure everyone knows its quite knackering walking back to the car all the time to swap dogs especially if your competing more than 1 dog. I do wonder if the kennel club had really thought this through as i know my dogs go better if they have breaks between runs but there was no way i was walking back to the car everytime so my poor poches had alot of waiting around with no water as i can't carry that all the way to the ring?? Maybe that was cruel of me and there needs should come first but i felt that by the time ive walked back to the car i've got to walk back down again, although it did Gemma good hanging around the rings.

So Saturday was a lovely day all my dogs had a clear and then either 5 falts in there other rounds apart form Jess who managed to crash through a fence and even squeeled lol pick your boody feet up he he!! I was so pleased with my dogs that i only ran them twice as i didn't feel they needed to do anymore so i was doe by midday so we spent the afternoon with Emma and Amy, what a fantastic and relaxing afternoon one of those perfect afternoons, sunshine, beer and playing with our pooches!!

Sunday we managed to blag the people on the gate that we were camping and left our pass at our caravan so thankfully we parked by Jo's caravn which was much better. Jessica was abit naughty and has know decided if theres another way round thats easier shell take that although atleast she doesn't go under just round. So maybe i need to go completely back to square one and take one jump at a time and give her straight lines even if t means it takes me ages to get round. I am really chuffed with Gemma shes really comeing back she hasn't quite got the speed she used to and i don'e feel connected with her yet but shes showing promise again and she had some fantastic weaves in one class. With Gemma i have to be sensible and watch where the judge is as quite a few classes the judge was close to the weaves and i know people always say dont change your plan but if it means that Gemma piks up abit of conficdence then im all for that i just don't want her to get spooked again. Sunday afternoon we walked up the companion show as i felt my dogs had done enough for the weekend. I had entered Gemma in quite a few things and what a fantastic way off givig your dog confidence in the ring with no pressure. She stood really well at times and other times she'd sit but she did some excellent moving her around. She came 4th in the working and pastoral group which i was really chuffed about as she was really good and gave me confidence to maybe do abit more wih her. Tassi also got 2nd in scruffiest bitch, not quite sure if her owners will like that but he ho shes got her first rosette. Amy and Emma did really well and im sure it will all go on there blog and it was lovely that we ll got rosettes and what a lovely way to spend an afternnon playing with your dogs.
Congratulations to Ellen for winning grade 1 jumping, Anne and Crafty and another clear in jumping woop woop, Sandy and Henry for a 3rd in agility and i think it was a 9th somewhere and to Clare for a 10th in agility and for all off Jo's achievements over the weekend if i've missed anyone out i apologise and also Amy, Masiy and Summer for reserve best in show woop woop!!
